TechnoKids Computer Curriculum is a collection of technology projects. Projects include engaging computer activities for children of all ages. Use our detailed computer lesson plans and resources to teach your students.

Each project includes a teacher guide for curriculum planning, student workbook with handbooks to promote independence, and resources to reinforce learning.

TechnoKids divides projects into categories. We have computer lesson plans for kids in Kindergarten to Grade 12.

Primary Grades k-3

Junior Grades 3-6

Intermediate Grades 6-9

Senior Grades 8-12

Project-based learning poses real-world challenges that are personally meaningful. Activities engage learners in the inquiry process. They actively construct knowledge to explore solutions.

TechnoKids technology projects blend ICT and STEM activities into curriculum. Lesson plans use an interdisciplinary approach to integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (plus the arts) into learning.

Math Space

Mathspace supports students at every step of their calculations, with feedback, hints and suggestions. This helps them to develop a deeper understanding of important mathematical concepts, and build strong growth mindsets. With Mathspace you can easily see how individual students are tracking and can pinpoint areas of struggle

Mathspace uses Adaptive learning technology that can help to maximise both the quantity and quality of every piece of feedback. Mathspace is different to other adaptive learning platforms in that it allows learners to enter all their working and gives feedback at this granular level, with both process and self-regulation feedback provided.

Feedback, in the form of a tick or cross, is given to the student at every step as they solve a question. Additional help, in the form of hints and videos, is also available to the student (if they need it). It’s important to note that the learner doesn’t receive any feedback (on the process) unless they ask for it. This allows them to identify the mistake themselves — turning the task feedback into self-regulation feedback. If the learner cannot identify where they have gone wrong, Mathspace can provide a hint which takes the form of self-regulation feedback, prompting the learner to think about what they already know. If needed, a second hint provides process feedback, explaining the process needed for the next step by using scaffolding, as shown below.
